Report copyright or intellectual-property infringement
The structured report form below is the preferred way to submit an intellectual-property complaint because it helps us collect the information needed to assess the report. Legal correspondence may also be sent to legal@secondpass.net.
In accordance with Section 25 of our Copyright Policy, creators, rightsholders, and authorised representatives do not need a SecondPass account to submit a report or protect their creative work.
Rightsholders do not need to register, create an account, or log in to submit a complaint or protect their work.
Where feasible, SecondPass addresses specific infringing items rather than indiscriminately removing unrelated content.
Knowingly submitting false, malicious, or fabricated complaints may result in sanctions and legal liability under applicable law.
Primary Structured Report Form
Complete the structured fields below. Submitting through this form ensures that all statutory details are recorded directly for rapid triage by our legal operations desk.
Alternative Contact & Legal Correspondence
While the structured form above is the preferred mechanism, legal correspondence, rightsholder follow-up, additional documentation requested during a review, or other formal legal notices may also be sent directly to our legal contact address:
Upon receiving a complete complaint via either channel, SecondPass evaluates the matter in accordance with Sections 26–28 of our Copyright Policy, and where appropriate, takes proportionate corrective action and notifies the affected creator.
Required Information for a Valid Complaint(Section 24)
Whether using the structured form or email, a complaint must contain the following core items to enable effective verification:
Provide your full name, email address, organisation or company name (if applicable), and relationship to the rightsholder so SecondPass can communicate with you regarding the report.
Describe the copyrighted or otherwise protected creative work, 3D model, texture, render, text, or asset you believe has been infringed.
Provide the exact SecondPass.net URL(s) (e.g. https://secondpass.net/workshop/... or /showcase/...) to locate the specific material. Multiple URLs may be submitted where they concern the same infringement complaint.
Explain clearly why you believe the published content infringes your rights or exceeds the scope of any applicable licence.
Indicate whether you are the original creator, copyright owner, exclusive licensee, or an authorised legal representative submitting on behalf of a studio or publisher.
Include original publication links, timestamps, comparison images, licence terms, or source files supporting your claim.
Confirm that the complaint is submitted honestly, in good faith, and that the information supplied is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
